Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Adelaide is seeking a dedicated Night Guest Service Agent to oversee overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate nightly financial records. You will coordinate with the Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager to prepare overnight reports and set the day up for a smooth start.

Your duties include processing payments, checking guests in and out, handling wake-up calls, answering overnight queries, and ensuring safety and service standards after hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with guests, colleagues and third parties respectfully.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills for overnight operations.
• Basic accounting and mathematics for auditing and payments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Night Manager in preparing overnight reports and balancing daily transactions.
• Process payments (room charges, debit/credit, cash, cheques) per procedures.
• Check in/out of guests and handle wake-up calls.
• Answer phones and address overnight guest queries.
• Perform concierge duties, room service, and special requests.
• Maintain guest/employee safety and security.
