Job summary

TeamKids, the premium OSHC provider in Australia, is hiring Casual Educators in the Outer North region. Owned by teachers, we’re a team of passionate educators committed to enriching children’s lives before school, after school and during holidays.

Location Beveridge offers flexible shifts (7:00–9:00, 2:30–6:30, and school holiday blocks). You’ll work with a supportive team, take part in excursions and themed days, and have access to training and discounts for your own children.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education is helpful but not required.
• Passionate about helping children thrive and being a team player.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable OSHC experience.
• Contribute to engaging activities, excursions and themed days.
• Help ensure children's safety and well‑being during care sessions.

Who is TeamKids?

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Beveridge

Shifts available between:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
