Job summary

TeamKids is seeking Casual Educators for our Inner South OSHC services in Melbourne, including St Kilda and Port Melbourne. You will work with a supportive team, gain experience in before and after school care, and help children thrive with engaging activities.

We offer flexible shifts, on-the-job coaching, in-house training, and pathways for development such as Director Of Service training. If you are passionate about working with children, have or are working toward an ACECQA-approved Cert III

Qualifications

• Ideally has previous experience in before and after school care or education.
• Passionate about working with children and helping them thrive.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: St Kilda, Port Melbourne and surrounding suburbs

Shifts available between

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
