Job summary

The Wesley Hospital, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking an Administration Officer for the Outpatient Allied Health Centre. This casual role supports patient administrative needs and delivers excellent service in a busy environment just minutes from Brisbane.

Primary hours span 6:30 am to 6:00 pm with weekday flexibility and no weekend shifts. As the first point of contact, you will assist with appointments, records, invoicing and coordinating room bookings, while upholding high standards

Responsibilities

• Liaise with patients on behalf of the Allied Health team and Visiting Medical Practitioners.
• Manage incoming telephone enquiries and provide timely, professional assistance.
• Schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and ongoing care bookings.
• Conduct private health fund eligibility checks, prepare invoices and process payments.
• Coordinate correspondence and manage medical records in line with requirements.
• Coordinate room bookings for Allied Health consultations and patient programs.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
