Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking an Administration Assistant to provide a professional reception experience for patients and visitors in the Acute Outpatients Service. The role supports clinical staff with referrals, bookings and patient flow, ensuring documentation and data entry into the iPM system are accurate and timely.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Cardiac Investigation Unit, you will help maintain confidential, compliant administrative processes and contribute to a collaborative healthcare

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and improve processes.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to use common software applications and email in a healthcare setting.
• Administration experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming reception service to patients and visitors in the Acute Outpatients Service.
• Deliver efficient administrative and clerical support to clinical staff.
• Coordinate patient referral management, appointment bookings and follow-ups.
• Manage patient arrival/departure processes and prepare documentation per iPM guidelines.
• Maintain data entry, administrative systems and confidentiality in line with standards.
