Job summary

Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking a customer-focused Administrator to join our team in a permanent part-time role. You will provide high-quality administrative support to clinical and operational teams, manage reception duties, and contribute to patient experience and data quality.

Working with the Administration Team Leader/Manager, you will balance priorities, support bookings and banking tasks, and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of administrative support to clinical and operational teams.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, medical practitioners and staff.
• Managing reception activities, including patient admissions and discharges.
• Conducting health fund eligibility checks and processing patient payments.
• Supporting bookings, appointments, admissions and course enrolments.
• Assisting with banking reconciliation, purchasing and inventory management.
• Coordinating maintenance requests and general operational support activities.
• Performing clinical transcription, records management and patient information requests.
• Monitoring and maintaining data quality, identifying and correcting discrepancies as required.
• Supporting rostering activities in line with relevant work instructions and enterprise agreements.
