Zusammenfassung

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Access Clerk to register patients on the PAS for outpatient episodes, validate patient information with the Summary Care Record, and issue new hospital numbers.

You will manage referrals, book and reschedule appointments, coordinate with clinics and secretaries, maintain templates in PAS, handle phone enquiries, and support the team to meet waiting time targets.

Aufgaben

• Register patient on PAS for outpatient episode and validate patient information using SCR.
• Issue new hospital number and prepare documents for new patients in line with Trust Policy.
• Date stamp referrals on receipt and scan referral letters into the referral workflow system.
• Forward referrals to appropriate clinician/department for authorisation and respond to telephone enquiries for status updates.
• Invite patients and book appointments using PTLs and the PAS system; manage TAL and ERS scheduled slots.
• Oversee clinic templates, book/overbook/cancel clinics, and communicate changes to staff.
• Provide general support: training new staff, implementing policies, and monitoring adhoc information.
