Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Outpatient Clinic Utilisation Co-ordinator to optimise clinic utilisation, review templates, and apply slot conversion rules with clinicians and local management. You will ensure bookings meet targets and assist in resolving capacity constraints.

You will use PAS iPM and NHS e-Referral systems to manage referrals, coordinate scheduling, monitor waiting lists, and provide up-to-date information to clinicians and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient administration.
• Ability to manage clinic templates and scheduling.
• Strong communication with clinicians and administration teams.

Responsibilities

• Review clinic templates and apply slot conversion rules with Clinicians.
• Provide timely and accurate information on clinic utilisation to management.
• Schedule outpatient appointments and send letters/literature to patients.
• Monitor waiting lists and maintain up-to-date clinic lists for preparation.
• Liaise with GP practices and other professionals to meet service requirements.
• Ensure patient records and documentation are complete for bookings within two days.
