Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Process Assistant for our Dandenong South Fulfillment Center, working Wednesday to Saturday on the Night Shift. The role focuses on supporting the Area Manager and handling responsibilities related to pick, pack or ship.

You will help manage daily department duties, allocate labor, lead meetings, and ensure SOP compliance while coaching associates to work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading teams
• Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)
• Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required
• Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Support and work in other departments as required
• Help manage daily department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties
• Provide coverage for Area Managers
• Follow policies and track attendance; not responsible for discipline
• Track and report ATS/labor hours
• Assist floor with training and SOP compliance verification
• Support area performance through tracking, reporting and feedback
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives as needed
• Understand workflow and daily production goals
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Identify and address safety hazards in the area
• Coach associates to work safely at all times
• Refer all job injuries to area manager immediately
