Job summary

Amazon in Dandenong South, Victoria is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Process Assistant) for the Outbound Night Shift. You will support the Area Manager and lead department duties, including labour allocation, meetings, and duties assignment.

Ideal candidates will have experience leading teams within manufacturing/distribution, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. 38+ hours per week with overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work 38 hours+ per week with overtime as required.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support daily management of department duties including labour allocation.
• Lead meetings and assign job duties.
• Provide coverage for Area Managers.
• Track and report ATS/labor hours.
• Coach and train associates and verify SOP compliance.
• Ensure area performance through tracking and feedback.
• Identify safety hazards and coach safe work practices.
• Support cross-department collaboration as required.
