Frontier Services is seeking an organised, proactive and motivated individual to join our team as the Outback Links Administrator.
Frontier Services is a charity working with people in remote areas across 86% of Australia. We work alongside rural and remote communities, providing practical assistance and community support through volunteer assistance and Bush Chaplaincy. Our mission is to support, link and empower the people of Outback Australia by creating connections and mobilising resources.
Outback Links is our national volunteer program connecting passionate individuals with meaningful opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people in remote Australia. Through our network of registered volunteers and collaboration with corporate and community partners, Outback Links provides practical assistance where it is needed most.
As the Outback Links Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the administration and systems that underpin the delivery of the Outback Links program nationally.
You will support the onboarding of volunteers and support recipients, maintain compliance requirements and program records, process enquiries and registrations, and help ensure our systems and data remain accurate and up to date. Working across platforms including Salesforce and Rosterfy, you will help keep the shared administrative processes that support Outback Links running effectively.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with people, has great attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things organised and following things through.
Triage and process Outback Links enquiries, registrations and referrals, and support volunteer and support recipient onboarding.
Manage volunteer compliance requirements, including Police Checks, Working With Children Checks and required documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records across Salesforce, Rosterfy and other systems, with a strong focus on data quality.
Proactively follow up outstanding information, documentation and compliance requirements.
Support volunteer recruitment, engagement and recognition activities, along with program reporting and documentation.
Coordinate Outback Links merchandise, resources and program materials, while supporting consistent administrative processes across the program.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
A proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
A confident and friendly communicator who enjoys working with people and providing a positive experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using CRM, database or volunteer management systems highly regarded.
The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively as part of a close-knit team.
A willingness to work within the ethos and values of Frontier Services and the Uniting Church in Australia.
The successful applicant will be required to hold a National Police Check and relevant Working With Children clearances.
This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours per week) hybrid role, with a combination of time spent working from home and in our Sydney CBD office.
Some travel may be required to attend relevant events, community activities and other Outback Links engagement opportunities.
