Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Assistant to support our service locations in Epping, Thomastown, Glenroy and Roxburgh Park.

This casual role offers a competitive hourly rate between $37.59 and $47.68 plus 12% super, five days a week, and opportunities for professional development.

You will help deliver activities, maintain safety, prepare healthy snacks, and work with a friendly team to create engaging OSHC programs for children.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care (or studying toward).
• Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities such as science experiments, sports, arts and crafts.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for children.
• Prepare healthy snacks to keep energy up.
• Coordinate with OSHC team to deliver integrated programs.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Work across our service locations in Epping, Thomastown, Glenroy and Roxburgh Park.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week preferred.


• Work up to 5 shifts per week across both Before and After School Care.


• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.


• Contract: Casual.


• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
