Job summary

Brighton Grammar is hiring an OSHC Relief Service Assistant on a casual basis to support before/after school care and vacation programs. You will help deliver science, sports, arts and snacks while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for every child.

Ideal candidates are warm, engaging and willing to obtain requisite safety trainings, with qualifications in Early Childhood or related fields. Flexibility and strong communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or related field or currently studying toward it.
• Valid Working With Children Check and relevant child safety training.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities and experiences for children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
• Prepare healthy snacks and support program logistics.
• Contribute to integrated OSHC programs and community engagement.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Brighton Grammar, Brighton.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday availability preferred.
• Work up to 5 shifts per week across Before and After School Care.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or is studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
