Job summary

St Michael's College Beverley is seeking an OSHC Service Assistant to support after-school care and vacation programs. You will help deliver engaging activities, maintain safety and inclusivity, and prepare healthy snacks while collaborating with the team to provide quality OSHC experiences.

Hours are Monday to Friday after school, with additional vacation care hours as needed. Candidates should have or be pursuing related qualifications, WWC clearance, and First Aid/CPR training.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or higher is preferred
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis & Asthma management training required or willing to obtain
• WWC check and child protection training are mandatory

Responsibilities

• Deliver science experiments, sports, and arts activities that kids enjoy
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels
• Collaborate with staff to deliver integrated OSHC programs

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Michael's College, Beverley.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five day availability.
• After School Care: 2:50 pm to 5:30 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
