Job summary

St Kevin's College, Toorak, is seeking a casual OSHC Service Coordinator to lead after-school programs and activities for children. You will plan science, sport, and arts activities that kids actually want to do while ensuring safety and inclusivity.

The role involves managing day-to-day operations and collaborating with our engagement team, supported by our compliance experts at the unit TEG Compass. A relevant qualification is required, with first aid and WWCC underway.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching or related field.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR are required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities and events for kids.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
• Prepare healthy snacks and manage after-school care routines.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on quality and ratings.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations to run the service smoothly.

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Kevin's College, Toorak.

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required.
• After School Care: 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Total Hours: 18 hours and 45 minutes.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
