Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking a friendly, energetic OSHC assistant to support St Michael's College Beverley in after-school and vacation programs. You will help run experiments, sports, and arts activities while ensuring safety and inclusion for all children.

You will coordinate with staff, prepare snacks, and assist with parent communication. A relevant qualification and checks are required, with training provided for advancement.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or related field (or actively studying toward)
• A valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certifications
• Willingness to obtain Anaphylaxis & Asthma management training if needed

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering science experiments, sports events, and creative activities for kids.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to keep energy levels high.
• Engage with families and stakeholders to support integrated OSHC programs.

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Michael's College, Beverley.

Hourly Rate:

$37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five day availability.
• After School Care: 2:50 pm to 5:30 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
