Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Service Coordinator for Bowral Public School, Bowral. This casual role involves planning exciting science, sports, arts activities and managing vacation care programs for children, five days a week during vacation care periods.

You will lead a safe, inclusive environment and prepare healthy snacks while working with our Engagement Manager and compliance experts to ensure quality ratings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood, Education or related field.
• Working With Children Check is required; first aid and CPR certification encouraged.
• Willingness to obtain Child Protection Training and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities and educational experiences for children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Prepare healthy snacks to support energy levels during vacation care.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager and compliance team for assessments and ratings.
• Engage with families and school leaders to ensure programs meet community needs.
• Manage day-to-day service operations to run smoothly and on schedule.

Hourly Rate: $47- $50 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.00- $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required during vacation care only.
• Vacation Care: Starting from 28 September 2026. Upto 38 Hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Community Services, Youth Work and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
