Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is hiring an Assistant Coordinator for OSHC in the Eastern Suburbs. The role is permanent part-time (66 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday, term time only, with responsibilities including safeguarding, attendance management, and program delivery.

You will work with a Coordinator and Regional Operations Officer to support families and the school community, with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive above‑award salary plus

Qualifications

• A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards one.
• OSHC experience preferred.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children.
• Manage children's attendance and bookings to maintain supervision.
• Support the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Build relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children's experiences with families; shifts are Mon–Fri.
