Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator in the Eastern Suburbs for a permanent full-time role, with term-time only scheduling and split shifts. You will act as Responsible Person, ensure a safe, inclusive OSHC service, manage attendance and bookings, support educational program delivery, and build strong relationships with families.

Requirements include an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or current studies), NSW Working with Children

Qualifications

• A qualification (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Previous OSHC experience is preferred.
• NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• GECCKO safety training completion (register GECCKO).
• Child protection training certificate.
• First Aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for staff and children.
• Manage children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety.
• Support the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children’s experiences and achievements with families.

• Monday - Friday. Split shifts
• Term time only but Vacation care available
• $43-45/hr + Super + Split shifts allowance
• Annual leave & Sick leave + Wellbeing leave (extra 2 days) + 1 Birthday leave

• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
• Achild protection training certificate
• AFirst Aid Certificate
