Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd – Mascot NSW is hiring an Assistant Coordinator to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing OSHC environment for children. You will act as the Responsible Person, manage attendance and bookings, and support the development of educational programs.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with families and the school community, sharing children’s progress, and ensuring a supportive and compliant service for term-time operation with vacation care

Qualificações

• A qualification (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• OSHC experience is preferred.
• NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• GECCKO child safety training completed.
• Child protection training certificate.
• First Aid certificate is required.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive OSHC environment for staff and children.
• Manage children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision.
• Support the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children’s experiences and achievements with families.

• $43-45/hr + Super + Split shifts allowance
• Annual leave & Sick leave + Wellbeing leave (extra 2 days) + 1 Birthday leave

The Role

As anAssistant Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as theResponsible Personfor the service
• Ensuring asafeandinclusiveOSHC service for staff and children
• Managingchildren’s attendance and bookingsto maintain supervision and safety
• Supporting the design andimplementation of engaging educational programs
• Building strongrelationships with families and the school community
• Sharing children’s experiences and achievements with families

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Aqualification(or be working towards one) inEarly Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experiencein Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
• A validNSW Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO
• Achild protection training certificate
• AFirst Aid Certificate
