Job summary

The Extend Group seeks a dedicated professional for our OSHC service at Findon, SA. This permanent part-time role supports before/after school care and holiday programs, coordinating engaging activities and a safe, inclusive environment for students.

You will mentor staff, plan educational and recreational activities, and work with school leadership to ensure high-quality OSHC programs while maintaining compliance and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care is required or in progress.
• Valid Working With Children Check and Child Protection training are essential, with First Aid/CPR and Anaphylaxis & Asthma management preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities (science, sports, arts) for children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels.
• Mentor and mobilise the team and assist the service coordinator.
• Collaborate on assessments and ratings with compliance support.
• Engage with the school community to build integrated OSHC programs.

About your service:Extend OSHC at Nazareth Catholic College

Location:Findon, SA

Position:Permanent Part-Time Position (Term-Time)

Salary:$66,808.56 Package (Per Annum Includes Superannuation, Allowances and The Worker Retention Payment)

Role:

• Before School Care:7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
• After School Care:2:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Monday to Friday (28 hours and 45 minutes per week).
• Be a part of our exciting Vacation Care program, with up to 6-hour shifts available during school holidays.
• Paid administrative time and regular training and development opportunities.

• Be the Visionary:You're the boss of the service! You'll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always:Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up:Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Mentor & Mobilise:Motivate your team by empowering them to lead with confidence and fostering a shared commitment to enriching every child's experience. You will also assist the service coordinator.
• Champion Quality:Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector:Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst:Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
