Jobwire is seeking a detail‑oriented Order Processing & Administration Officer to join their warehouse team in Eastern Creek. The role combines hands‑on administration with customer service, ensuring orders are entered accurately and progressed efficiently on the floor.
Ideal candidates bring a warehouse or logistics background, plus strong communication and data‑entry skills. This position offers a practical, non‑corporate setting and opportunities to grow within the operation.
Are you an experienced Administration, Customer Service or Order Processing professional who understands the fast-paced nature of a warehouse, logistics or operational environment?
Our client is seeking a reliable, mature and hands‑on Customer Service & Order Processing Officer to join their established team based in Eastern Creek.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical, operational environment and understands that successful administration and customer service go hand-in-hand with what is happening on the warehouse floor.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply chain background and are looking to utilise their operational knowledge in an administration and order processing role.
Initially, your focus will be on administration and order processing, working closely with customers, warehouse staff and operational teams to ensure orders are entered accurately, progressed efficiently and customers are kept informed.
This is a white‑collar administration role within a blue‑collar warehouse environment. You will be based in a practical, hands‑on operational setting rather than a traditional corporate office, so being comfortable communicating with warehouse teams and getting involved in the day‑to‑day operation is important.
The successful candidate will ideally be mature, dependable and level‑headed, with the confidence to take ownership of their work and build strong relationships across the business.
A warehouse background, WMS experience or LF Forklift Licence will be highly regarded. An LF licence is not essential, but would be a definite bonus. Previous team‑leading or leadership experience will also be viewed favourably.
Process and manage customer orders from entry through to completion
Accurately enter, update and maintain orders within relevant systems

Prepare customer quotes and documentation
Respond to customer enquiries and assist with resolving order queries or discrepancies
Complete accurate data entry and general administration
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Work closely with warehouse and operational teams to support smooth day‑to‑day operations
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident working in a busy operational environment.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in administration, customer service, order processing or coordination
A background in warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply chain highly regarded
Experience working closely with warehouse or operational teams
WMS or warehouse/order management system experience highly desirable
Previous team leadership or supervisory experience highly regarded
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Accurate data entry and order processing skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks
A mature, dependable and practical approach to work
This role will suit someone who enjoys being part of the operation rather than sitting in a traditional office environment.
You will work closely with warehouse and operational staff, customers and other internal stakeholders, so we are looking for someone who is approachable, adaptable and confident communicating with people at all levels.
If you have come from a warehouse or logistics background and are looking to move into an administration/order processing position, this could be an excellent opportunity to use your existing operational knowledge while developing your office‑based skills.
