Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia / Northern Territory (RFDS SA/NT) is seeking a Team Leader for the Operations Coordination Centre in Darwin. You will lead an on-shift OCC team, ensuring efficient service delivery, effective workforce management and strong stakeholder collaboration across the region.

The role requires experience in emergency services or aviation coordination, exceptional leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency services and/or aviation coordination, communications and logistics.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the OCC team to deliver high quality service.
• Provide guidance and operational support during peak workloads.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure rostering accuracy.
• Maintain procedures and resources for efficient operations.
• Coordinate after-hours on-call support and disaster readiness.
