Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Night Shift Operations Supervisor for our Cardiff depot in NSW. The role leads nightly, coordinating staffing, equipment and processes to ensure safe, efficient freight handling and excellent service levels.

You will coach teams, monitor KPIs and manage costs while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Based in Cardiff, this permanent full-time night role requires a hands-on approach to operations, with responsibilities spanning planning, labour coordination

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership role in transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environment.
• Experience coaching and motivating operational teams.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of safety and transport compliance requirements.
• Experience managing KPIs, productivity and operational performance.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.

Night Shift Operations Supervisor – Team Global Express – Cardiff, NSW

Team Global Express has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to join our Express Parcels team based in Cardiff, NSW. This is a permanent full-time night shift position, working Sunday night to Friday morning from 11:00pm to 7:00am. You will take a hands‑on approach to leading day‑to‑day depot operations, coordinating the team and resources to ensure the operation runs safely, efficiently and delivers a high level of service to our customers. You will lead and support the team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, productivity and operational performance.

What you’ll bring

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience within freight, parcels or transport operations will be highly regarded

Licences and qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence will be highly regarded
• Dangerous Goods, HSE and Risk Reporting experience or qualifications will be advantageous
