Job summary

Team Global Express, an Australian-owned transport and logistics business, is seeking an experienced MC Driver for a local Gosford role. You will complete local pickups and deliveries with an early 4:30am start, ensuring safety, efficiency and professional service within Gosford and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will hold a current MC licence and have prior MC driving experience, with good communication skills and the ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Full-Time Permanent | Monday to Friday | 4:30am Start

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our Gosford team. This is a local pickup and delivery role, giving you the opportunity to use your MC driving experience while remaining within the local and surrounding areas. With an early 4:30am start, you'll be responsible for completing local deliveries and pickups safely, efficiently and professionally while providing excellent service to our customers.

About the Role

• Complete local pickups and deliveries across Gosford and surrounding areas.


• Commence work at approximately 4:30am, Monday to Friday.


• Operate MC vehicles safely and professionally.


• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections as required.


• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.


• Ensure freight is correctly secured and transported in accordance with load restraint and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.


• Complete daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks.


• Complete delivery documentation, scanning and manifests accurately.


• Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed within required timeframes.


• Communicate effectively with Operations, customers and other drivers.


• Provide professional and reliable customer service at every delivery and collection.


• Monitor freight condition and ensure customer goods are handled appropriately.


• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and well maintained.


• Report hazards, near misses, incidents and vehicle issues promptly.


• Follow all Team Global Express safety policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

• A current and valid MC licence – mandatory.


• Demonstrated commercial experience operating MC vehicles.


• Previous local PUD, general freight or transport experience will be highly regarded.


• Sound knowledge of load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.


• Experience safely loading, unloading and securing freight.


• Good knowledge of the Gosford/Central Coast area would be advantageous.


• Ability to complete vehicle pre-start inspections.


• Good communication and customer-service skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage your delivery schedule.


• Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling where required.


• Strong attention to safety.


• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
