Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Night Shift Operations Supervisor for our Express Parcels team based in Cardiff, NSW. This permanent full-time night role runs Sunday night to Friday morning, 11:00pm–7:00am, and involves hands-on leadership of depot operations, coordinating staff and resources to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service.

You will lead and support the team with a strong emphasis on safety, productivity and operational performance, driving improvements and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in transport, logistics or warehousing.
• Experience leading, coaching and motivating operational teams.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of safety and transport compliance requirements.
• Experience managing KPIs, productivity and operational performance.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to coordinate labour and equipment based on operational requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in freight, parcels or transport operations is advantageous.

Team Global Express has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to join our Express Parcels team based in Cardiff, NSW. This is a permanent full-time night shift position, working Sunday night to Friday morning from 11:00pm to 7:00am. You will take a hands-on approach to leading day-to-day depot operations, coordinating the team and resources to ensure the operation runs safely, efficiently and delivers a high level of service to our customers. You will lead and support the team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, productivity and operational performance.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach and support employees across the operation

• Work closely with the wider team to ensure customer service expectations are met

What you’ll bring

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environment
• Experience leading, coaching and motivating operational teams
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Understanding of safety and transport compliance requirements

Licences And Qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence will be highly regarded
• Dangerous Goods, HSE and Risk Reporting experience or qualifications will be advantageous
