Job summary

Kane Transport seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a team of up to 20 drivers in Ballarat, overseeing daily and weekly runs, driver debriefs and safety reporting.

You will coordinate compliance measures, vehicle maintenance, recruitment, training and deliver high-level customer service, while managing warehouse stock movements in a fast-paced regional operation.

As a highly regarded and successful regional transport company, Kane Transport is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team on a full time basis.

This highly challenging but rewarding position will see the successful applicant lead a team of up to 20 drivers and liaise closely with our customers.

In addition, day to day responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and scheduling drivers daily runs and weekly work schedules.

Deliver driver debriefs, OHS reporting and incident management.

Assist with the coordination of compliance measures including mass and fatigue management along with vehicle maintenance.

Lead high level customer service within the team.

Assist with recruitment, training and overall management of drivers with a focus on continuous improvement.

Manage warehouse stock movements.
