TechNautics Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking an experienced Operations and Sales Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive business growth and deliver service excellence in a marine‑tech context. You will manage client relationships, coordinate workshop activities and oversee quotations, budgets and profitability while developing new opportunities and leading a small team.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, workshop management, technical services or a similar environment.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships, generate sales opportunities and manage quotations.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, job costs and profitability.
• Experience leading and coordinating teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, planning and organisational skills.
• A practical understanding of technical products, equipment or service delivery.
• A hands-on approach balancing strategic opportunities with day-to-day priorities.
• Experience in marine technology or technical equipment supply is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Business Development & Sales: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities, manage enquiries and convert them into profitable work.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily workshop and service activities, coordinate resources and suppliers, ensure on-time delivery.
• Commercial Performance: Monitor budgets, job costs and profitability, ensuring cost control and sound decisions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small team of technical and administrative staff, driving accountability and performance.
• Client Service: Act as a key contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and long-term relationships.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, quality and safety.
