Saab Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Support Officer to collaborate with the Head of Operations, Systems Delivery, to ensure the efficient operation of the SDG. The role supports day-to-day activities, budget tracking and reporting, while identifying initiatives to improve efficiency and performance.

You will work in a hybrid setup with potential for flexible arrangements and contribute to continuous improvement across the SDG in a defence and security environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in operations, administration, business support or project coordination.
• Qualifications in business, project management or a related discipline (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Track and monitor SDG overhead expenses and support budget management.
• Assist with quarterly forecasting, workforce planning and annual budgeting.
• Coordinate resource planning activities and maintain workforce data.
• Manage seating allocations and equipment provisioning across teams.
• Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Liaise with corporate functions to support business priorities and outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SDG business.
