Job description

This is a hands-on operational leadership role at the centre of everything we do. You'll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of our event technology and equipment — from warehouse and inventory management through to freight, bump-in/bump-out logistics, and on-the-ground troubleshooting at live events.

Because we're a small business, this isn't a role where you sit behind a desk directing others from a distance — you'll be genuinely hands-on, jumping in to configure kiosks, resolve IT issues on-site, and solve problems in real time when something inevitably goes sideways two hours before doors open.

Key responsibilities

Managing day-to-day operations for equipment setup, configuration, and deployment across multiple concurrent events

Overseeing warehouse logistics, stock control, freight bookings, and equipment maintenance schedules

Coordinating and sometimes personally running equipment bump-in/bump-out at event venues, including registration kiosks, badge printers, laptops, and networking gear

Working closely with our events software platforms (EventsAir, Swoogo, Entegy) to ensure equipment and systems are configured correctly for each event

Maintaining relationships with freight, IT, and equipment suppliers

Continuously improving operational processes as the business scales

Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues under time pressure, both remotely and on-site

About you

Proven experience in an operations, logistics, or event technology management role

Strong IT skills and genuine comfort with hardware and networking (laptops, printers, POS/kiosk hardware, Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting)

A hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" attitude — you're just as happy configuring a kiosk as you are managing a roster

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines at once

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to events (including some interstate and after-hours/weekend work around event schedules)

Strong communication skills and a calm head under pressure

Experience with event management or registration software (EventsAir, Swoogo, or Entegy) highly regarded but not essential
