• Must have a valid Australian driver’s license.
• Able to handle physical, hands-on tasks and early starts.

Responsibilities

• Bump In & Out: assist onsite logistics and ensure flawless setup and teardown.
• Driving: deliver and set up activations at events.
• On Site Management: keep carts and events picture‑perfect and support the event crew.
• Warehouse Organisation: stage and prepare events, maintain warehouse and equipment.
• Ordering & Procurement: manage inventory and source catering, packaging and styling items.
• Team Work: collaborate with a close team to orchestrate successful activations.
• Client Relationships: build rapport with clients and interpret their event needs.

At Gathering Events, we’re seeking someone who’s just as comfortable driving a van and setting up activations as they are preparing event equipment and maintaining an organised warehouse.

We are on the lookout for a full‑time front of house Event Operations Assistant to prepare and deliver our activations and events, from warehouse to event location.

About the Role - The Day to Day:

• Bump In & Out Events: Be a part of the onsite team, handling the logistics of bumping in and bumping out, ensuring everything is executed flawlessly
• Driving: Deliver and set up at our events
• On Site Management: Ensure our events and carts are picture‑perfect, our operations run seamlesslyand event crew are supported.
• Warehouse Organisation: Station and prepare events in our warehouse. Maintaining warehouse and equipment
• Ordering & Procurement: Managing inventory levels and ordering required catering, packaging, styling and other required items for events.
• Team Work: Collaborate with a close‑knit team, where your passion for the catering industry will help orchestrate success
• Client Relationships: Foster harmonious relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and crafting experiences that resonate
