Job summary

Secure Lockers is seeking an Operations Assistant to support logistics, projects and coordination. You will handle orders from placement through to delivery, installation and completion, liaising with suppliers, freight companies, installers, customers and internal teams to ensure timely execution.

The role focuses on organising, following up, and owning tasks from start to finish, with emphasis on clear communication and proactive problem-solving in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to own tasks end-to-end.
• Comfortable using standard office software and logistics portals.

Responsibilities

• Placing orders with suppliers and issuing purchase orders.
• Checking orders against specifications and project requirements.
• Confirming order details, quantities, finishes and other requirements.
• Monitoring production, dispatch and delivery timeframes.
• Regularly following up suppliers and escalating delays where required.
• Obtaining freight and transport quotes.
• Coordinating freight bookings and issuing purchase orders to transport providers.
• Tracking deliveries and keeping projects on schedule.
• Coordinating delivery and installation dates with customers.
• Booking and coordinating network of installation subcontractors.
