Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd is seeking an organised, proactive Operations Coordinator to support our Newman operations. Working a 2:1 off roster, you’ll join the leadership teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery of crane and lifting services across mining, infrastructure and industrial projects.

In this role you’ll coordinate labour, equipment, and resources, manage workforce planning and scheduling, and handle payroll, invoicing and compliance while liaising with customers and internal teams to keep

Qualifications

• Experience in operations coordination, mobilisation, workforce planning and administration.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience within mining, maintenance, industrial services, cranes, logistics or construction is highly regarded.
• Experience with mobilisation systems, payroll, invoicing or procurement is valued.

What We’re Looking For

Freo Group is seeking an organised, proactive and customer focused Operations Coordinator to support our Newman operations.

This is a unique opportunity to combine office-based operational planning with onsite coordination, working closely with our Superintendent, Supervisors and operational teams to ensure the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of crane and lifting services.

Working a 2:1 off roster, you'll become an integral part of both our operational and leadership teams.

You’ll Ideally Bring

• Experience in operations coordination, mobilisation, workforce planning and administration
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• A pro-active, solutions-focused approach
• Experience within mining, maintenance, industrial services, cranes, logistics or construction (highly regarded)
• Experience with mobilisation systems, payroll, invoicing or procurement will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating people, mobilisation, compliance, customer requirements and operational administration to keep our business running smoothly.
