Bettatrans is seeking a hands-on operations coordinator to plan daily transport schedules, allocate drivers and coordinate vehicle movements in a growing South Australian family-owned business.

You will respond to breakdowns, urgent requests, and last-minute changes while building strong client relationships and ensuring safety and efficiency across the fleet. This role offers leadership growth into day-to-day operations management.

• Experience in transport, logistics or fleet coordination is valued.

This is a hands-on role with real decision-making responsibility and the opportunity to grow into second-in-charge of daily operations.

What you’ll do

Plan daily transport schedules, allocate drivers and coordinate vehicle movements.

Organise routes to make the best use of our fleet and meet customer commitments.

Respond to breakdowns, urgent requests and last-minute changes.

Give drivers clear direction and work closely with customer service, administration and maintenance.

Build client relationships, understand service needs and keep customers informed.

Follow jobs through to completion and find practical ways to improve how we work.

Transport operates beyond standard business hours, so you’ll need to handle occasional operational calls and urgent matters outside normal hours.

What you’ll bring

Transport, logistics or fleet coordination experience is valued. We also welcome applicants from customer service, administration or other service-based roles who have experience organising busy schedules, coordinating people and managing changing priorities.

You’ll bring:
