Job summary

Extend After School Care is seeking an OOSH Vacation Care Service Assistant in Jerrabomberra, NSW. The role involves delivering engaging activities, ensuring safety and inclusivity, and preparing healthy snacks for children in a casual, part-time capacity.

You’ll work 2–3 shifts per week with opportunities for professional development and retention payments under the scheme. A Working With Children Check and first aid training are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or related field, or studying toward it.
• Desirable qualifications include Diploma, Bachelor or Masters.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Jerrabomberra Public School, Jerrabomberra

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: 2-3 shifts per week.
• Vacation Care:Up to 15 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable, not essential).
