Job summary

Extend After School Care in Bowral is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Coordinator to lead engaging activities, ensure safety, and deliver healthy snacks. The role focuses on creating a vibrant, inclusive environment for children and working closely with school partners and families.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or hold a Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood or related fields, with a warm, can-do attitude and valid child-safety credentials.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or related fields.
• Warm, engaging and can-do attitude.
• Valid Working With Children Check and required safety trainings (First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management) with willingness to obtain others.
• Ability to build trust and connect with children, families and school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Be the Visionary: plan and run engaging activities and events that kids want to participate in.
• Safety First, Fun Always: lead a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Provide healthy snacks and manage day-to-day operations of the service.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager and compliance teams to ensure quality.
• Serve as a community connector, listening to stakeholders and building integrated OOSH programs.
• Manage everyday service operations to run smoothly and reliably.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working in our fantastic service at Bowral, ! You’ll have the opportunity to support services, making a real impact while broadening your OOSH leadership experience.

Hourly Rate: $47- $50 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07- $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
• Travel: Work close to home
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

As our OOSH Relief Service Coordinator you will:

• Be the Visionary: You’re the boss of the service! You’ll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OOSH programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
