Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Assistant to support Bowral and Tahmoor services, helping deliver engaging activities and safe, inclusive care for children in before/after school programs.

Hours run Monday to Friday with shifts including 6:45-8:45, 2:30-6:00, and 3–5 shifts every fortnight; local travel is involved. A Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR are required or in progress, with training provided.

Qualifications

• You've got (or are studying toward) a relevant qualification (Cert III+, Diploma, Bachelor, Masters).
• Working With Children Check and Child Protection training are required or in progress.
• First Aid/CPR and Anaphylaxis & Asthma management ideally completed or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Hourly Rate

$36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
• Travel: Work close to home
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Qualification: You've got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not required).
