Job summary

Extend After School Care is Hiring an OSHC Service Assistant at St Mary's Primary School, Malvern. The role involves delivering engaging activities, ensuring safety, and preparing healthy snacks for children after school hours.

You will work Tuesday and Thursday with possible Vacation Care hours, in a casual contract. A Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR are essential, with upskilling opportunities and generous discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent is required.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR are needed or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in OSHC or school-age programs is valued.

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Mary's Primary School, Malvern.

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Tuesday and Thursday. Two days per week required.


• After School Care: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.


• Vacation Care:Up to 30 hours per week.


• Contract: Casual.


• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
