Job summary

St Nicholas is establishing a brand new OOSH service at Catherine McAuley Primary School, Medowie, NSW. The OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader will oversee operations, recruit and mentor staff, and implement the My Time Our Place framework for school-aged care.

The role, starting Term 4, 2026, offers 35 hours per week, permanent part-time with a mix of split and block shifts, operating 6.30am–6.00pm, for Before/After School and Vacation Care. Remuneration is $46.12 per hour plus allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in School Age Education and Care or equivalent is required.
• Current Working with Children Check is required.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID012) is required.
• Current CPR certification (within the last 12 months) is required.
• Geccko National Child Safe Training is desirable or required by policy.
• Child Protection Qualification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of service operation for the new OOSH site.
• Lead, guide and support a team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Recruit, onboard and mentor staff; manage relationships with school stakeholders.
