Job summary

St Nicholas Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle in Charlestown, NSW, is seeking an OOSH Coordinator to oversee the after-school service and vacation care, leading a team to deliver high-quality education and care for children aged 5–12.

This permanent part-time role offers 35 hours per week across before/after school programs with vacation care shifts; salary is $46.12 per hour plus allowances, plus paid training and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in administrative procedures and curriculum development.
• Experience liaising with parents and community partners.
• Commitment to staff professional development and training.
• Understanding of WHS legislation and service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the service and lead a team delivering high quality education and care for school-aged children.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and CCS requirements; support program delivery.
• Collaborate with families and community to promote safe, inclusive learning environments.
