Job summary

St Nicholas Early Education in Medowie, NSW, seeks an OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to establish our brand new service at Catherine McAuley Primary School. You will lead a team to deliver high quality education and care to school aged children.

This 35-hour-per-week, permanent part-time role offers split and block shifts, with Before and After School sessions plus Vacation Care, operating 6.30am to 6.00pm. Commencement Term 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
• Demonstrated ability to implement the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children as Educational Leader
• Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and mentoring
• Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for OOSH or an Early Education service
• Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the service and lead a team to provide high quality education and care
• Work collaboratively with the school Principal and St Nicholas across all aspects of service operation
• Recruit, resource and enroll families for the brand new service
• Establish and implement routines for Before/After School sessions and Vacation Care
• Support staff development and mentoring to ensure excellent outcomes for children
