Job summary

St Nicholas OOSH is seeking an OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader for Edgeworth, NSW. You will oversee operations, lead a team delivering high-quality education and care to school-aged children across before/after school and vacation care programs.

The role is permanent part-time (35 hours/week) with split or block shifts. Eligibility includes a Diploma/Cert III in Children's Services, WWC check, First Aid, and child protection qualifications. Competitive remuneration and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training.
• Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation.
• Knowledge of the CCS childcare subsidy system and ability to perform software-based compliance tasks.
• Willingness to act as Nominated Supervisor under relevant legislation (NESA).
• Experience applying the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children within centre curriculum.
• Experience managing a budget for an Early Education or OOSH Centre.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations and lead, guide and support a team delivering high-quality education and care for school aged children.
• Coordinate before/after school programs and vacation care across Edgeworth, NSW.
• Maintain work-life balance and manage shifts (35 hours per week) including vacation care hours (6.30am–6.30pm).
