REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a strong Operations Leader to head our Jandakot logistics and collection activities. You will drive safety, efficiency and customer service while building a high-performing team.

Bring hands-on leadership to coach drivers and supervisors, optimise routes, and manage costs to improve profitability. This role is based on-site in Western Australia with growth opportunities within REMONDIS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading logistics or transport operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in heavy vehicles, fleet management or transport logistics.
• Hands-on leadership with coaching and accountability of drivers and supervisors.
• Experience in waste/environmental services is highly regarded.
• Commercial acumen with budget control and performance improvement.
• HR driver license preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable operations: oversee daily collection and transport activities to meet safety and customer requirements.
• Build a high-performing team: coach and develop drivers and supervisors and address performance issues.
• Improve productivity: optimise routes, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Deliver commercial results: manage costs and drive profitability improvements.
• Coordinate fleet availability: work with workshop/maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Strengthen customer relationships: resolve service issues and maintain service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement: use data and frontline feedback to implement changes and track results.
