REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a strong Operations Leader to head our Jandakot logistics and collection activities. You will drive safety, efficiency and customer service while building a high-performing team.

Bring hands-on leadership to coach drivers and supervisors, optimise routes, and manage costs to improve profitability. This role is based on-site in Western Australia with growth opportunities within REMONDIS.

Formación

• Proven experience leading logistics or transport operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in heavy vehicles, fleet management or transport logistics.
• Hands-on leadership with coaching and accountability of drivers and supervisors.
• Experience in waste/environmental services is highly regarded.
• Commercial acumen with budget control and performance improvement.
• HR driver license preferred but not essential.

• Coordinate fleet availability: work with workshop/maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Strengthen customer relationships: resolve service issues and maintain service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement: use data and frontline feedback to implement changes and track results.

What you'll be doing

• Lead safe, reliable operations: Oversee daily collection and transport activities, ensuring services meet safety, compliance and customer requirements.
• Build a high-performing team: Coach and develop drivers and supervisors, strengthen accountability and address performance issues constructively.
• Improve productivity: Optimise routes, scheduling and resource allocation to improve fleet utilisation and service efficiency.
• Deliver commercial results: Take ownership of operational financial performance, manage costs and implement improvements that strengthen profitability.
• Coordinate fleet availability: Work closely with the workshop and maintenance teams to support vehicle reliability and minimise downtime.
• Strengthen customer relationships: Work with customers and internal teams to resolve service issues and maintain consistent service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement: Use operational data and frontline feedback to identify issues, implement changes and track results.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience leading logistics or transport operations in a fast-paced operational environment.
• A strong background in heavy vehicles, fleet management or transport logistics.
• A hands-on leadership style, with experience leading drivers and supervisors through clear expectations, coaching and accountability.
• Experience in the waste industry or environmental services is highly regarded. Strong understanding of route optimisation and scheduling.
• Commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, controlling costs and improving operational performance.
• HR driver license is preferred, not essential.
