Job summary

Randstad Pty is seeking an IT Support Officer to deliver Level 1 IT support across active hubs in Kyneton. You will handle face-to-face onsite inquiries, log and triage incidents, and manage hardware setup and decommissioning for field devices and laptops.

The role requires 2+ years of IT support experience, proficiency with Windows devices, MS Office, Teams, and ticketing tools, and strong communication with a calm, professional approach. Occasional travel between local sites is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 1 IT support or service desk experience.
• Proficiency with Windows devices, PC hardware, MS Office, Teams, and ticketing tools.
• Ability to learn proprietary hardware workflows quickly and assist non-technical users.
• Strong communication and escalation judgement.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for technical enquiries onsite.
• Log, triage, and manage incident priorities under tight timelines.
• Set up, configure, test, and decommission field devices and equipment.
• Resolve basic issues with user logins, password resets, software errors, and network connectivity.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation for deployed equipment.
