Job summary

Tech & Data People in Sydney seeks an IT Support Officer to be the on-site IT face for a growing national business. You will manage end-user support, device provisioning, asset control, and hands-on troubleshooting.

You will work with a remote technology team while owning local IT operations and ensuring staff have tools to stay productive. A hands-on role with autonomy and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience supporting: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Windows desktops and laptops, printers and peripherals, mobile devices, basic networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printing, mobility, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests through an ITSM platform.
• Support meeting room technology, printers, mobile devices, and end-user computing environments.
• Build, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and other end-user devices.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including device allocation, user access, and equipment recovery.
• Manage technology assets, maintain accurate asset registers, and monitor stock levels of IT equipment and accessories.
• Coordinate hardware repairs, warranties, returns, and logistics activities.
