Job summary

Scenic World in the Blue Mountains is looking for an Events Coordinator to join our Events team onsite. You’ll work with the Senior Event Manager to plan and deliver our annual program of major events and activations, ensuring memorable experiences and guest satisfaction.

This hands-on role covers event coordination, logistics and stakeholder management—from planning and timelines to on-site setup, delivery and pack-down, while keeping multiple moving parts on track for a seamless guest

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or equivalent.
• Experience planning, coordinating and delivering events or activations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep schedules organised.
• Solutions-focused and adaptable.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Customer focus and guest experience orientation.
• Willing to work weekends/after hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of Scenic World’s major events and smaller activations.
• Support Senior Event Manager with timelines, run sheets and operational requirements.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, entertainment and equipment for delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness.
• Provide hands-on support during setup, operation and pack down.
• Maintain event documentation and supplier information.
• Work with Safety team to meet WHS and operational requirements.
• Monitor delivery and resolve issues to keep events on track.
• Support post-event reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
• Keep up with event trends to enhance guest experience.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and ongoing professional development.
