Job summary

One by Mingara is seeking a passionate Junior Lifeguard to help supervise aquatic areas and deliver outstanding customer service. The role offers part-time hours across weeknights and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and community wellbeing.

You will hold a Pool Lifeguard licence with First Aid & CPR, and a Working with Children Check, with opportunities to requalify annually, all funded by us. Join a supportive team at One by Mingara, part of Mingara Leisure Group.

Qualifications

• Pool Lifeguard licence, First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Current Pool Lifeguard licence.
• Previous lifeguard / SLSC experience.

The Role

Are you passionate about the water and looking to start a career in aquatics? As a Permanent Part-Time Junior Lifeguard, you will help create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for our members by supervising aquatic areas, providing great customer service, responding to potential risks, and assisting with water quality and plant room operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aquatics industry, with weeknight and weekend shifts available across our operating hours.

You will be a team player, natural communicator and have a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of our local community.

In addition, you will meet the following criteria:

• Pool Lifeguard licence, First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing and able to obtain, paid for by us!)
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Current Pool Lifeguard licence
• Previous lifeguard / SLSC experience

Our successful candidate is also willing to requalify annually in all Lifeguard specific competencies and annually (paid for by us!)
