Job summary

Mingara Leisure Group in NSW is seeking a Part‑Time Lifeguard to help keep our aquatics space safe and welcoming for members. You will monitor water quality, assist with plant room functions and respond quickly to any risks around the water while delivering excellent customer service.

We value team players and offer above award wages, roster prior notice, and development opportunities with scholarships. Flexible shifts from early morning to evenings across Mon–Sun.

Qualifications

• Pool Lifeguard licence is required
• First Aid & CPR certificates required or willing to obtain (paid by us)
• Working with Children Check required or willing to obtain
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential

Looking to kickstart or continue your aquatics career? We’re seeking energetic and customer-focused people to join our Lifeguard team!

As a Permanent Part-Time Lifeguard, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the member experience and keeping our destination safe. You will build great relationships with our members and provide supervision over the aquatics space, identifying and responding to potential risks in and around the water. This role will also see you managing water quality and plant room functions.

About You

You will be a team player, natural communicator and have a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of our local community.

In addition, you will meet the following criteria:

• Pool Lifeguard licence, First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing and able to obtain, paid for by us!)
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Current Pool Lifeguard licence
• Previous lifeguard / SLSC experience

Our successful candidate is also willing to requalify annually in all Lifeguard specific competencies and annually (paid for by us!)

• Flexible hours and days are required for this role. Shifts range from open (4:45am) to close (8pm) Monday-Sunday
