Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a talented Service Administrator for a 12-month parental leave cover, starting October 2026. This full-time, on-site position supports the Service Advisor team with day-to-day administrative tasks while providing occasional reception relief.

The role requires experience with AP/AR in a service environment, strong communication, and excellent organization to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Automotive exposure is a plus. 100% on-site in Wetherill Park.

Qualifications

• AP/AR experience in a service industry.
• Experience in fast-paced workshop service environment.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage conflicting tasks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; training on other programs available.
• Automotive experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of service administration, including opening work orders.
• Process invoicing, job closures, and purchasing (POs, AP/AR).
• Accurately record labour entries and support WIP/PIP KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal departments and Service Advisors for smooth service delivery.
• Balance multiple tasks and deadlines while supporting branch targets.
• Provide backup admin support during breaks or peak workload.
